The Power To Believe

If there was ever anything you wanted to know about writing, producing, recording and engineering a major label-quality rock album independently, or how to go about getting it out into the world so that people have a chance to hear it, I can probably answer your question. In fact, I feel that I could teach a graduate-level course at Berkeley on how to do just that. Having recently been through this process, the first two tidbits of wisdom that I would impart to anyone interested in attempting a similar venture would be 1) expect it to take a lot longer than you think it will, and 2) expect it to cost A LOT more than you think it will. That said, do not let either of these immutable truths deter you from giving it a go if you've really got a passion for making music and want to know what it is like to actually achieve what so many talk about and yet so few ever actually accomplish. Even though we are still in the very early stages of promotion and can by no means claim to have had any real success thus far, the fact is that we have an incredible album that we can be proud of for the rest of our lives, and I honestly believe that it is going to serve as the key that opens the door to countless other wonderful and amazing opportunities. Most importantly, I know what the hell I am doing now, and the next go-around should ultimately prove to be a little bit easier and hopefully a bit less expensive, as well. And now ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Conway Twitty.
